It has been an incredible year for the NOWT and all its partnering events, sponsors, volunteers, and anglers. Across the board the circuit has seen an increase in participation, with some events selling out well in advance.
Sagamok was no different this past weekend as 84 teams battled it out on the Spanish River in Massey, ON. A full field meant greater competition and full prize payouts to the top finishing teams.
Also at stake were final opportunities at securing Angler of the Year points for both the annual award and one of the top 25 spots at the 2019 NOWT Championship Tournament in Geraldton.
At the end of the weekend with solid fishing by all anglers, the team of Steve Gravel and Luc Ouimette came out on top with a 2-day winning weight of 23.41 lbs! Congratulations!
