Kenogamisis Lake hosted the 2016 Geraldton Walleye Classic. The community of Geraldton and the volunteers involved continue to build on the stellar reputation of this event. A full field battled through very tough weather conditions to earn top rankings and cash prizes.
In the end, the Kapuskasing team of Miguel Tailleur and Denis Gendreau hoisted the GWC Championship trophy over their heads as the crowd of spectators and fellow competitiors cheered and applauded.
