The 2015 Mattagami First Nations Walleye Tournament brought on format changes to this highly anticipated event – it’s the kick off of the NOWT season.

Prizes are awarded to the top weights for each day in this new format.

This season we saw a total of 122 teams compete for the cash prizes available.

The top finisher for Day 1 was the team of Boissoneault and Richardson with a weight of 15.54 pounds.

Day 2 top weight went to the team of Garneau and Salmonson with 12.99 pounds.

The overall total weight went to Tory Garneau and Craig Salmonson with a combined two day total of 26.44 pounds!  This marks the third year in a row the pair have won this event!

Congratulations to all anglers in their performances this weekend!
