Travis Gendron (L) and Trevor Bernath (R), winners of the 2015 DMWD.

The First Annual Dubreuilville Magpie Walleye Derby held this past weekend was hosted by the Dubreuilville Magpie Rod & Gun Club. The second tournament on the NOWT provided 2 excellent days of competitive walleye angling.

Many large walleyes were caught and released over the two days. Final weights on each day were close, which kept the competition exciting.

In the end, it was the Wawa team of Travis Gendron and Trevor Bernath earning top prize with their two day total of 32.93 pounds of Magpie River walleye!

Second place went to Jamie Robinson and Terry Bernath with their total weight of 29.34 pounds.

Not far behind in third with 28.54 pounds was Marty Descoteaux and Morris Bélanger.
