2016 MFN Fall Classic Champions – Perry Caverson and Denis Martin.
As the 2016 NOWT season nears the end, the second last tournament of the year did not disappoint anglers and spectators. Anglers were welcome back to the community of the Mattagami First Nation for the MFN Fall Classic Walleye Tournament.
The heavy rains expected for Day 1 held off and the weekend provided a decent weekend of competitive walleye fishing. Over 70 boats battled it out on the waters of Mattagami Lake for the top cash and big fish prizes.
The total weights of the weekend concluded the story of the weekend and one team rose to the top of the podium!
