The Town of Kapuskasing hosted 107 focused teams for the 2015 Kapuskasing River Walleye Tournament.
With a million listeners on Reno Viola Outdoor Radio, this this a great opportunity for the NOWT, sponsors and its anglers.
A full field battled through very tough weather conditions in Geraldton to earn top rankings and cash prizes.
The Magpie River hosted the second event of the NOWT circuit. The full field of 120 teams battled it out for the top cash prizes for the weekend.
Northern Ontario Walleye Trail
The Northern Ontario Walleye Trail is a fishing tournament circuit that awards anglers points at each of the sanctioned events.
Anglers receive points based on their finish in that event with their 3 best finishes used to calculate their placement in the “Angler of the Year” race.
The NOWT circuit is run by anglers for anglers and is designed to help anglers promote themselves as well as the sport of tournament angling in Northern Ontario.
